The purpose of the NCATE Speakers Bureau is to assist institutions
and states in identifying appropriate speakers for statewide or
regional meetings or conferences. When you complete the Speakers
Bureau form, NCATE will contact speakers appropriate to the topic
you indicated and try to arrange for them to address your meeting.

As teacher preparation and teacher performance
moves to the fore in state, local, and federal policy discussions,
the role, value, and effectiveness of NCATE moves front and center
as well. Questions from a variety of audiences about the effectiveness
of teacher preparation need to be answered. We developed the Speakers
Guide to assist you as you communicate with a broad number of public
groups, as well as communicating on your campus or within your organization.
