Professional Biography:

I have been at The University of West Alabama since 1971. Since that time, I have been active in many aspects of the University and the community. I have served on the Ruby Pickens Tartt Public Library Board since 1973, and served as President of the Board for two four year terms. I have also served on the Sumter County Fine Arts Council since 1974, and I have served two terms as President of the Council. I organized the Friends of the Coleman Cultural Arts Center in 1990, and remain an active member. I have been involved in many, many projects designed to help build a better community and university.
