Professional Biography:

Dr. Jan Miller is currently serving as the Dean of the College of Education and serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of West Alabama in the College of Education – Instructional Leadership Department.
 
Dr. Miller has 22 years of public school experience in the state of Mississippi. During those 22 years, she has taught numerous grade levels, served as a lead teacher, and supervised two schools as principal. Dr. Miller’s background and areas of emphasis include early childhood and elementary education, arts integration, instructional leadership, curriculum and instruction, data analysis, school improvement, grant writing, and professional development.
