Professional Bio:

Danielle continues her tenure at UWA as the coordinator of the athletic training outreach program for the secondary schools within the UWA service area. The program aims to improve the evaluation, treatment, management, rehabilitation, and referral of injuries and illnesses by working with administrators, coaches and local health care providers to increase the level and availability of athletic training services within the schools.

Danielle began her athletic training career at the University of Central Florida where she graduated with her B.S. degree in Athletic Training in May of 2010. While at UCF, she assisted with the responsibilities of the football, baseball, softball, and men’s and women’s tennis teams. In addition, she also worked with Florida Hospital Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. In 2010, Danielle accepted a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer position at the University of North Carolina Pembroke with her primary responsibilities being with UNCP’s football and cheer/dance programs. While working as a Graduate Assistant, she worked towards her graduate degree and received her Master of Arts in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Administration in May of 2012. After graduation, she worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Mount Olive College in North Carolina with her primary responsibilities being both the men’s basketball and softball teams. She also taught courses in health and sport psychology. Danielle has also provided medical assistance for the Universal Cheer and Dance Association, working at such events as the Disney Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Capital One Bowl.

Danielle is a native of Orlando, Florida and currently resides in Livingston with her dog, Cinder.
