Professional Biography: |

Brenda Lyons is the Director of Field
Experience and Outreach here at UWA. A native of Eutaw Alabama,
Brenda received a Bachelor and Masters in Education from the
University of Alabama in the area of Special Education. Her work
experience includes serving as a teacher, assistant principal,
and principal in the Tuscaloosa City Schools. During a 9 year
retirement from public education, Brenda worked as a consultant
for the McGraw-Hill Companies, training teachers across the
nation to implement a Reading and Language program. Her goals
for the office of clinical experience and outreach are to
enhance the communication with students and faculty and to
create a more active partnership with regional school districts. |
