Becky Graham received her B.S. in
biology from UWA in Biology Education in
1990. While working with the
federally-funded Student Support
Services on the UWA campus, she
continued her education and earned her
M.A.T. in biology from UWA in 1992.
During this time, she became an adjunct
instructor in the Department of
Biological Sciences, teaching general
biology classes at night. In 1994, she
became a full-time faculty member and
the laboratory manager for the
department. Mrs. Graham teaches general
biology and oversees students in the
Laboratory Practicum in Biology. In
addition, she supervises graduate
teaching assistants and student workers.
Mrs. Graham is the Director of The West
Alabama Regional Science Fair held each
March on the University of West Alabama
campus. She also is the President of the
Sumter County Wildflower Society and
serves as the President of The Alabama
Wildflower Society.
In 2000, Mrs. Graham received the
William E. Gilbert Award for Outstanding
Teaching.
